Personal data protection policy
Job applicants
Groupe Lépine (957 503 642 R.C.S Lyon) and the group company on whose behalf recruitment is carried out, as joint data controllers (hereinafter ‘Groupe Lépine’), collect and process personal information about you, including your surname, first names, contact details, education, professional experience, qualifications, awards, interview reports, etc.
Groupe Lépine informs you that it may also add to your profile with information about you, namely information collected (i) during its exchanges with you, whether written, telephone or in person, (ii) during interviews with persons whose contact details you have provided to us for the purpose of verifying your references, and (iii) from professional social networks when this information is useful for evaluating your application.
Your personal data:
- The management of your application for the purposes of assessing it in relation to the position in question, consulting professional social networks and taking references are processing operations based on the performance of pre-contractual measures, or - for anything exceeding the performance of pre-contractual measures - on the legitimate interest of RCT (getting to know you better in order to assess your suitability for the position in question).
- Your data may also be included in a CV database, which will enable RCT to offer you other opportunities, if applicable. This processing is based on our legitimate interest when you respond to an offer or on your consent when we contact you.
In the forms, the information collected by Groupe Lépine that is essential for the aforementioned purposes is marked with an asterisk on the collection forms. If you do not fill in these mandatory fields, Groupe Lépine may not be able to process your application.
Your personal data is mainly communicated/accessible:
- to personnel responsible for recruitment within Groupe Lépine, the Human Resources Department, and your potential line managers;
- Your personal data may also be transmitted to other companies within the Lépine group for the purposes of managing your application and, if you have given your consent, to enhance its CV database.
Outside the Lépine Group, your data may be communicated:
- To the Lépine Group's IT service providers (responsible in particular for IT maintenance and hosting)
- To partners involved in recruitment management (recruitment agencies, etc.)
If any of Groupe Lépine's partners are located outside the European Union, Groupe Lépine will ensure that transfers are carried out in accordance with French regulatory requirements (e.g. implementation of contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission). You can contact Groupe Lépine's Data Protection Officer for further information on these matters and for a copy of the relevant documents.
The personal data of external candidates will be kept for a maximum period of 24 months unless they withdraw their consent, which they may do at any time.
In general:
- You have the right to request access to your personal data
- You have the right to request the rectification of your personal data
- You have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data, (i) if you contest the accuracy of the data while we are in the process of verifying its accuracy, (ii) if you believe that we are processing your data unlawfully and you request a restriction on its use rather than its erasure, (iii) if we no longer need your data for the purposes set out above but it is still necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of your legal rights, (iv) if you exercise your right to object during the period in which we are verifying whether our legitimate grounds override yours.
- You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data.
- You have the right to request, at any time, to exercise your right to object to processing carried out for reasons relating to your particular situation.
- You have the right to exercise your right to data portability, which gives you the right to obtain a copy of your personal data or to transfer it to a third party in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format.
- You have the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing and producing legal effects concerning you or significantly affecting you.
- You also have the right to give instructions regarding the storage, erasure and communication of your personal data after your death.
